Expert view
In Expert view mode all screen elements are visible. By default the amount of elements visible for new users is reduced. This should protect newbies from doing unwanted things. Most actions are still accessible by their Shortcut keys even when Expert view is disabled.
Enabling Expert view
It can be switched like this:
View menu >
Expert Mode
or
Edit menu >
Preferences… > Checkbox Expert mode at the bottom left.
