Requesting too many nodes silently fail

Description

I upgraded to JOSM 3428 and now when I request area with too many nodes (more than 50000), it will silently fail, not showing any messagebox or anything on the console. Previous versions showed a message, informing about this limitation (so you know what is wrong and request a smaller area in next attempt)
