Many translations lost or strings appearing modified since 17833

Description

Something happened since JOSM 17833, that caused many of the translations to maybe disappapper, or at least launchpad translation system thinks they have changed. I noticed e.g. highway types or railway objects appear untranslated and need translation again. All is fine in tested version of 17833.
I noticed this in the 'sk' language translation, see e.g. https://translations.launchpad.net/josm/trunk/+pots/josm/sk/+translate?field.alternative_language-empty-marker=1&show=untranslated&memo=73&start=73

Which commit may have caused this?
Please investigate before people waste time re-translating stuff that was already fine.

Confirmed, highway=escape appears untranslated in French while the string has been introduced in r7979 and never updated since.

Could this change https://josm.openstreetmap.de/changeset/35737/osm be the reason?

comment:4 by aceman, 4 years ago

Possibly. Does it mean it added context to those tag values?

comment:5 by stoecker, 4 years ago

These values have never been translated before. Only the uppercase forms in the menu. These are only similar, not identical.
