Cycling through objects with Alt + Left Click doesn't work in MX Linux

Using JOSM on MX Linux, I can't cycle through different objects that are at the same location with Alt + Left Mouse Button.

I never heard about MX Linux before. Can you please check if it works on a mainstream distribution to see if it's an issue specific to your distribution? If that's the case it is highly probable the problem is not JOSM fault.
