feature request: move node on line

it would be nice to be able to select a node and hold a modifier key (e.g. alt) to constrain the drag movement along the way(s) the node is part of (or maybe even other ways? i.e. snap to ways for dragging).

Thats possible in the extrude mode (shortcut x):

• select the node
• select extrude mode
• hold down ctrl (strg)
• move the node with the mose along its way

sorry for replying late: there's a problem on the Mac, it moves the screen when holding ctrl, but it worked when holding shift+ctrl, thank you.
