Last time I checked, I saw history like data that may be private.
TIA.
It should happen on any config and I sent you vanilla.

Gladly, attached with a bit of explanations.
Location is 20/50.539609073446414/5.607073699776887 but it happens anywhere.
I sort of replayed the inconvenience I met when first mapping that way before.
The trick to determine where the layer's way bends is to elongate the way that's being draw and to align it exactly with the layer's way. Then the location where model and drawn way start to diverge shows clearly where the inflexion node must be placed.
The problem is when a name is tied to the drawn way and hides it and the inflexion point.
Names should not been written on ways that are being moved.
JOSM overall quality merits that small improvement.
TIA.

It posts only very few information we need to investigate bug reports, such as JOSM version, OS used, plugins installed, etc. I don't see any private information here. In fact you attached more information (we don't need) in your text file, and it took more time (for you, Klumbumbus, and me) with this process. I understand that newcomers don't read the instructions or don't understand why we need them. I don't understand however why people who have already posted several bug reports continue to ignore these simple rules. See #12295.
Btw this is not a defect but an enhancement request.
