I can reproduce this when I start JOSM with java -Duser.country=GB -Duser.language=en -jar josm.jar
I try to find out why this doesn't try to show the default english help.

@Dirk: I can reproduce this also with very old JOSM versions. Is it possible that there was a redirect on the server which is missing now?

comment:3 by stoecker, 2 months ago

No. That probably never worked as there is no En_GB:Help. What I wonder is why it nowhere offers to go to En:Help instead. I though when the translated page fails JOSM would offer to load the original instead.

Same should happen for java -Duser.language=ar -jar josm.jar

In 19009/josm:

fix #23536 - somebody added useless space in Trac, so our empty-page detection failed

I think it would be good to fix the wiki as well if possible.

Replying to GerdP:

I don't think Trac will accept a patch to their software only to satisfy out website-scraping expectations...

Ah, got it. I thought the text is in our wiki.
