Please also elaborate on your bug description, "open dialogs" is too vague to do anything to help you.

Sorry. I made a mistake in a few things. This bug works when I open the relation editor (maybe because it non-modal, maybe something other). But not every time.
My mistake is this dialog not freeze. In fact, it is visible, but as if it does not exist for mouse.
On all clicking excluding relation window title react main programm window. Keyboard signals work.
I can close dialog by title X, but from that time all programm begin work uncorrectly.
I saw this problem several releases ago, but then switched to Java 6. No I cannot.
It maybe bug in Josm, Java 7 or window manger. I don't know.
Thanks.

It seems that I have identified one of the error condition. It work only when I use relation find string and then edit or copy relation. If I use ascii symbols in find -> no error (but I'm not sure). But when I enter non-ascii word or sometimes only numbers in find entry and open relation dialog -> bug.
I do not know why I had not noticed it before.

Thanks, but we still need the maximum info you can gave us:
- your status report
- a sample .osm file
- the object identifiers involved and the strings you typed
- a screenshot
Without these elements there is little chance we can reproduce and fix this bug.

Thanks! One last thing: what's your window manager?

Xubuntu xfwm4. You are right. I install mutter and josm work fine. I hope.
But with openjdk-6 I had not problem with xfwm4 too.
Thanks.

Likely a conflict between Xfce and Java. You should raise the issue to one or both of them.
We need more information. Would you please add, at least, the info of Help > Status Report > Report Bug (button on the bottom).
Thanks
