Description
I had a password which contained a non-ASCII character. As a consequence, I could not authenticate when trying to upload a change from JOSM. When I changed my password to only ASCII characters, the authentication worked.
There is probably a discrepancy between the encoding done by JOSM and the encoding expected by the API server.
