Selection of recently used tag returns wrong value

If you add a tag to an item there is a short list of recently used tags and values which you can select by left mouse click. The tag and value from the list should be entered in the two fields above.
If you used the tag=place and the value=village and try to reuse them, the value field is set to village_green instead of village.

Additional information:
Only the first click returns the wrong value "village_green". A second click on the same line enters the correct value "village".
System is WinXP

If it was JOSM-latest 5635 or later, it is possibly my mistake. I'll check.

This on Josm-Latest and older Josm 5528, so is not newly introduced bug.

To reproduce I had to start from tag "landuse=something", then it is changed to "place=village_green" instead of "place=village" on first click.

Fix was more intuitive than logical, please reopen if bugs remain.
