can not delete public_transport relation

Create a public_transport relation, add some members, update relation and upload changes.
Reload area from server.
Delete the relation => you don't get any feedback and the relation is still there.
Try to upload changes => nothing to upload.
You can use relation 2 618 766 to test. I can't delete it anyway. Relates to ticket #8263.
I consider this urgent since this blocks me from cleaning up mistakes and leaves garbage in the database.Im not sure if this issue exists for all types of relations, but I trust that you will verify this.

What is your value of delete_relations in the advanced preferences (cf. r4677)?

Problem solved by resetting preferences file. Did this in relation to ticket 8265 and as a "side effect" the delete relations is now working again. Must have been an incorrect setting. I'm sure I didn't make any changes in the settings - at least not intentionally Maybe a glitch in the update of JOSM ?

I didn't mean that you changed that by hand. You might have answered this "deleting relations might be harmful" with no and checked to not see this dialog again …
