P.S. I reset preferences to default before test.

I did several tests. It seems this error appears if I download a new area outside the combined block of previous downloads. If the downloads overlap it seems the error does not appear.

In the Information about the icon any style is missing, so it is no display problem, but a problem of the style selection or caching.

With my java 1.6 OpenJDK it is not reproducible. So it is very likely related to JAVA 1.7. As #7789 is for Windows it seems not be OS dependent.

Instead of downloading the area as noted in the ticket description, you can

  • Open the file aaaa.osm
  • then open the file bb.osm

Then the 2 symbols will be missing in the second layer.

(No need to merge the layers.)

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain bastiK.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
