Yellow highlight in Relation Toolbox edition stops working when new osm layer is added

Description
The highlighting feature that paints yellow all relation members of the selected one stops working after a new layer is loaded and does not come back unless josm is restarted. I tested this on the version I had and now on josm-latest(4934).
Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a quick fix for it?

I wrote RELATION TOOLBOX, the plugin named "reltoolbox" and NOT the relation editor. Have I been misunderstood? I tryed with a fresh new set of layers and same thing happens. Please let me know if you think we are talking about the same thing.
Thanks

Sorry, for misunderstanding !
Still can only reproduce the lost of highlighting after download but selecting again works.

Fixed in [o28814]. Sorry for 8 months wait :)
Can not reproduce.
Please add more information about your system and try it with an empty/new preferences directory.
With a new data layer the active layer changes and no objects are selected (also in relation editor) but changing the active layer back restores the relation editor, too.
Only problem I had that the selection was lost in the relation editor when merging the second on the first layer.
