GeoImages make JOSM unusable

Description

When I load about 20 images (~1MB each jpeg) JOSM consumes that much RAM, that it gets unusable. It takes ages to open them and it seems, that heap space is not released, even on deleting the geotagged image layer. Maybe some thumbnail should we generated on import and not the whole image loaded into ram.
