piclayer plugin does not function in josm latest

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Install piclayer plugin
  2. Download data. Then try to load a picture.

What is the expected result? Picture appears in a separate layer.

What happens instead? Error message, says there is a problem with the plugin. This plugin worked with earlier versions of josm latest.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
