suggestion: draw lines between raw GPS points with distance tolerance

Description

With "Draw lines between raw GPS points" enabled, if trackpoints are downloaded from the server,
it is frequently the case that multiple tracks get displayed as one.

If when parsing the list of trackpoints, it would only display lines between trackpoints that are
less than a user-defined distance apart (eg. 50 metres), then it will typically avoid drawing
lines between multiple recorded tracklogs, and generating less mess.

Joerg Ostertag has an perl script to do this. Search the osm subversion for osm-filter.pl
