you use rev3544 - try upgrading to latest, see if the problem persists
from your simple description i tried to reproduce the behavior (with latest), but i could not - all worked well
if you still have problems with latest, please be more specific:
1) maybe provide some data or a bbox (attach a small osm file to the ticket)
2) provide as detailed information as possible (what exactly do you do?, so that we can trigger the problem ourselves)
