CPU overload and josm hang up at copy on a new Layer

Description

If i want to copy some Lines from a Layer and paste it into a new Layer, Josm is going to hang up. My CPU is an 100% busy and i have tested to wait 16h if anything is comming, but nothing an i have to kill josm. I have tried this with an old Josm from Mai 2009 and there's no Problem to do this. This was testet with the border of Berlin.

I had the same a few days ago, but blamed it on the huge datasets I had loaded and my impatience won and I killed the JOSM process.

Can you post the OSM ID of the border of Berlin (probably a relation) which you couldn't copy and paste, please? Then I can test it in my environment.

The ID from this relation is 16349. But the error isn't in the losm-latest anymore.
