ALT Modifier broken in point-creation-mode

For quite a long time (maybe 1 month) the alt-modifier seems broken in create-point-mode: it displays like before the symbol for a new way but doesn't add a node on click (does nothing on click instead).

Works for me with latest. Are you sure it's not something else? Does e.g. "Alt + F" open the "File" menu (mnemonics may be different for other languages, but have a look for underlinded letters)?

Yes, ALT+F works, ALT+click doesn't. I use latest, but the problem is older (honestly, I'm not even sure if it ever worked since I changed from M$ to free and open).

You need to use right alt key for KDE, as ALT-Klick is reserved for moving windows.

yes, you're right (I'm using gnome but it's the same). Alt Gr works. Thank you
