Description
Changing mappaint-style should be more easier and without a needed restart. Possibly the map frame have to be repainted after a change.
There should also be a possibility to have a icon in the toolbar to switch between the styles or to easily activate and deactivate a style.

Replying to stoecker:
Changing mappaint style is possible during runtime. Loading a new style is not. But when you have style enabled, you can swith between these during runtime.
How can I do that?
For example enabling your maxspeed style -> Restart -> Works -> but how to disable and reenable later?
-> deleting in the prefences -> restart :-(
-> ?
The way it could be changed is used style (de: "Benutzter Stil"), but in this drop down menu I always found only "standard".
Regarding the easy switching - As long as we have no real alternative styles, there is no need in better support for switching styles.
Because of adding the support for multiple styles in the last version it is not so common. And with no support for easily changing it, it ... vicious circle ;-)

Each style has a name. You only need to enter the style-name in the edit box. Don't care for the default "standard".
There have been lots of improvements regarding styles in last time. Now it is time for the other side of the circle to roll. As already said there is no sense in doing high quality support when nobody uses this feature. Since the time when I made the example styles and worked together with FreieTonne there have been NO new impulses regarding foreign styles and also before that time foreign styles have been possible. So I hope you see that further work in this area will be relayed until there is actually something we can rely on.
