OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250325 amd64, java-23-openjdk-23.0.2.0

When the WMS URL for a (previously well-configured) image service returns HTTP Error 500, JOSM indefinitely retries loading the tile(s) and making the /usr/bin/java process consume significant amounts of CPU time (the application is still responsible). The "red text" per tile is not shown, which suggests that Error 500 does not throw an exception the way a 404 would.
