Description (last modified by )
When starting JOSM, an info box appears:
The OSM server 'https://api.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/' reported an internal server error. This is most likely a temporary problem. Please try again later.
I can download and edit normally.
When uploading changes, the same error box appears.
I tried now for 3 days but the problem persists.
I use Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
I installed it via aptitude.
The JOSM build date seems strange (1970... )

OSM Server only supports OAuth2 authentication since July 2024. The first JOSM version supporting OAuth2 is r18650. So please upgrade JOSM to current tested version (r19128) and create the new authentication token.

There seems to be no backports of JOSM available from Ubuntu and stable distro releases turn old relative quickly. You might want to switch to our own Ubuntu packages.
The JOSM build date seems strange (1970... )
That is a problem or intention of the package built by Ubuntu/Debian.
