Ah, sorry, I just noticed that the long standing Mapillary problems were recently solved by Taylor.
So, maybe the rest is work in progress?

Yeah. I use it. I recently broke it again (and am working on fixing it) when I changed some plugins to use maven instead of ivy for dependency management -- I've been working on a fix for that. See #23875 for one method I've investigated for fixing it. I'm currently working on a different method though.
