Strange window focus bug

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. I right clicked in the layer menu on a data layer and chose "save as"
2. Then I modified the preconfigured name by hitting "del" several times on the keyboard

What is the expected result?

the letters in the save-as dialogue get deleted

What happens instead?

it deleted an active map selection (a selected way)
