#23234 closed enhancement (worksforme)
It should be possible to close the History panel with the keyboard

Description
Other panels like the "advanced info" panel have the Close button selected by default so that hitting Return will close the window. But the History panel doesn't and it appears impossible to tab to it so that you can just hit Return. For accessibility and consistency reasons, it would be great if this could be added.

I swear I tried that before submitting the ticket and it didn't work, but after @NoteRoamer's note, I tried again and hitting Escape does close the panel. Would be nice if Return did as well to match the behavior of other panels, but this is a good workaround for now.

If somebody feels like adding it to Shortcuts wiki page, please go on...

Did my best to add it to Wiki. Hopefully in the right table.
@b-jazz: I tested again. If I just use Tab I'm stuck in the left side table "Ctrl-Tab" allows me to move allong the other panes and navigate down to the close button and then activate it with space. Return is used to navigate down the columns on the left side table while tab navigates along the lines.
Replying to b-jazz:
It seems to be omitted in the documentation but for me on Linux the "Escape" key seems to be working in all dialogs to close the dialog without performing any action. Does this work for you?
