Notes missing - download from OSM along this track

I know this isn't high priority - one can always manually click the green download button for notes.

But can this be automated just as with the regular download? Download also the notes for the downloaded area.

Because I do have a tendency to forget to download the notes - and then I start working based on photos and gpx data I surveyed - and recorded - and then I work down the photos - and then I figure:"ohhh, forget the notes" but my notes are then already back where I was editing photos before - and photos then already deleted - and then I don't always understand my own note anymore because quite often the note is related to information on a photo I made..

I know this is stupidity on my end - but that's how it is.. and automatic download of notes would be helpful for me.

Download along is in core since r14962.

I don't understand - why you mention it's in the core - when I can select in the component list specifically this plugin?

Am I supposed to select "core" instead?

The plugin is deprecated since four years and I doubt that you have installed it. The component Plugin download_along is only available for historical reason. May be, it could be hidden. As long as we do not have a separate component Core download_along it belongs to Core.

Ahhh - now I get it.. okay - I missed that part that it's now in the standard installation - thanks :)

Anyway - to have it to download the notes too - would be a great addition - but not critical - whenever there's time ;)
