Box selection mode should have it's own shortcut

I use box select constantly. I also use lasso select constantly, but it's rarely intentional. This is due to the 'select mode' (A) shortcut toggling between box select and lasso select. I would like to use separate keys for each selection mode. Lasso select already has it's own shortcut, but box select does not.

We'd probably have to detect that the lasso select mode has a shortcut set, and then disable toggling for the selection mode.

Changing the behavior of a shortcut based on the existence of another sounds strange. I can't think of any other application that does this. I think adding a new shortcut would be more in line with the "principle of least surprise".
