Wrong warning of the URL validator

Description

A domain name must not contain special characters such as "Umlaute" However, "Umlaute" are allowed after the domain name, i.e. after the first "/". Whether other special characters are also allowed, I can not say. The following link is correct and works:

​https://öpnvkarte.de is valid, since years, and no warning is created. I'd rather say they are valid in the path, too.
