Description
I've noticed lately that popout windows like the imagery preferences have drawing issues in the background. If I swap between JOSM and my browser the window is quite often mostly white. A small resize of the window brings it all back.
I can also take a small program like say calculator and move it around over JOSM and the areas in the popout window behind turn all white.
It will also sometimes mess with the pull down menus like Imagery where its all jumbled up if I move mouse down the list.
It started last year I believe without any changes to drivers (Nvidia). I've since tried updating the driver several times.

Video driver seem to not matter, I've tested almost every single one from early 2020 to the latest one.
Super easy to reproduce for me as well. Just open JOSM, go to imagery preferences to get an extra window out and swap back and forth to a different program a couple of times. The result is what you see in the image.
Not sure what you mean by "X-server".

Please try to update all your software (OS, video driver, Java). It's not a JOSM issue.

It kind of fixed it self with a later JOSM for some reason.
Couldn't move from Win7 on this PC as some old stuff would not work in Win10.
Not an issue for me now anyway as I've built a new PC with Win10.
Thanks for your report, however your ticket is incomplete and therefore not helpful in its current form.

Remember: This is a generic notice so we don't need to write the same stuff again and again. It may only apply in parts to the specific case!
Additionally, the exact version of the video driver and the X-server in use might be helpful.
