Hello,

do you need any further information? According to other sources, josm needs to use the new root certificate; https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=geoservices.bayern.de says the map source is okay.

Thank you for an update to josm.

@Vincent:

Something for you? Seems Let's Encrypt has another chain not yet supported by Java on Windows?

Replying to stoecker:

on Windows?

It works for me on Win10. Maybe only older Windows versions are affected?

BTW the mirror is not a mirror (anymore). The tiles are different. The mirror tiles seem to be older.

Your version of Java (8u131) is outdated, it has been released in 2017.
Please update first to latest version of Java (8u261 right now). If the problem occurs again, please attach a new status report.

Disable?

Disable?

We could keep it as own entry, but I don't know the years of both variants.

Hello,

a java update solved the issue. However the new licence terms of oracle are cumbersome ...

Thank you very much for the support - always these dump users not willing to install every update ;-)

Indeed. I plan to discourage everyone to use Oracle builds in the future. You can use better Java builds below:

Here wiki:Download#Java, Oracle is still mentioned.

Yes. I said I "plan". Lots of details to sort out before we tell everyone to move away from Oracle builds.
