Junglebus validation rules and public_transport=stop_position presets

Description

Hello,

I'm a little bit confused:

  • on the one hand, Junglebus validation rules say "The operator/network should be on the transport lines and not on the stops"
  • on the other hand, public_transport=stop_position presets suggest operator and network attributes to be filled *even if they're optional* (and osmose blames me, but it's another thing )

I don't know where presets come from (JOSM or plugin such as pt_assistant or other). But I know they can lead to mistagging public transport networks.

Maybe, there is no suitable solution...

Thx for your answer, whatever it is.

In general https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:public_transport%3Dstop_position says network/operator can be used on stop_position. The validator rule of jungle bus is limited to France https://github.com/Jungle-Bus/transport_mapcss/blob/master/transport.validator.mapcss#L256 so it seems in France there is a special agreement among mappers. So I think norhing can be done here.
