Description
I have looked at the active ticket list and could not see one for this plugin but apologies if already reported.
ImportImagePlugin 35125 throws up a "No projection file found" error, even when a PRJ file is provided. It then prompts to choose default or JOSM projection before failing (both dialogues in attached screenshots).
I have tried using an older image that previously correctly loaded into JOSM and get the same error as with the new images I am trying to load (the new images were converted to GeoTIFF using the same tools as the older, formerly-working images). It would thus appear to be a problem with the plugin or one of the four dependencies.

It's also written clearly in https://josm.openstreetmap.de/newticket...

Cheers for the info. However, on launching JOSM today I got the "You should update" link come up. I've updated and the plugin is back online. I guess the latest version of the plugin was looking for something in the new JOSM update that wasn't in the previous version...?
Problem solved, thanks.
