#17843 closed defect (needinfo)

Deleting a non-empty data layer in macOS takes too long

Reported by: Zverikk Owned by: Zverikk
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Core Version: latest
Keywords: macos performance Cc:

Description

  1. Open JOSM in macOS
  2. Download some data
  3. Delete a layer, or just exit the editor.

Instead of this being instantaneous, as one might expect, the editor freezes for 2-4 seconds.
