Wrong error message "Data contains unclosed ways"

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Load a *.poly file with one polygon
2. Delete the polygon and draw a new one
3. Try to save the file

What is the expected result?

New polygon is written

What happens instead?

Popup appears complaining "Data contains unclosed ways"
