Improve zoom to problem with crossing ways

Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Import attached gpx
- Convert to data layer
- Run Validator
- Right click on Self crossing ways (1) and select "zoom to problem"
What is the expected result?
Josm should zoom to and hilite the segments where the way intersects
What happens instead?
The way intersects in multiple places and zoom shows most of the way, hilite is not visible at this zoom level
