Trac 1.2.3 has finally been released, we should update.
As said, please open a ticket for Trac.

Aaaah. Probably fuzzy and thus rejected. How the hell do I install that when the initial install skipped it?

de message files are all fuzzy and messages.po has a number of fuzzy strings. Whoever did this release did a very bad job! Please open a trac ticket, I'll try to fix this issue temporary.
I'm unable to find the fuzzy strings in Transifex at all, so Transifex does not reflect what they release. What the hell are they doing?

No need to know details. Simply say that Trac 1.2.3 has no working German translation although you personally did efforts to improve translation.
I essentially left Trac development as the SJW community started to get a foot there.

The topic is fixed for me as you fixed the josm instance. As I neither have access to nor a clue of the josm trac administration I wont report this to trac. If you want you must comment there yourself. (But I don't care if you do it or not.)
