64bit vs 32 bit Java

Description

I am working on Windows 10 64 bit. The instruction pages mention that on this platform JOSM is recommended to run with 64bit Java, but when I do JOSM loads extremly slow. Not only initially but after every step when running.

Removing the Java 8.181 64 bit version and installing the 32 bit version made JOSM run lightning fast.

Well remind to never log a ticket again.
Hope you never worked as an IT Support engineer, because this is exactly the response that give them their bad name.

The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
