Description (last modified by )
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have no /dirty and /status menu entries in the context menu.
Expert mode is on and standard Carto is the only imagery selected.
Same problem across 4 Macs.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Please update your imagery list (blue reload button on the right at wiki:Help/Preferences/Imagery) and then check if the osm carto is green in the lower table.
Please also add a screenshot of the full josm window with the context menu.

This is an expert feature. Did you enable the Expert mode in preferences?

The Carto entry was green. I updated but no change.
Please also add a screenshot of the full josm window with the context menu.
Done, attached.

Yes. Also tried to toggle on/off, but no change.

I think I found the reason. Do you use the imagery index from ELI? i.e. do you have https://osmlab.github.io/editor-layer-index/imagery.xml
in your preferences key imagery.layers.sites
?

No, I only have https://josm.openstreetmap.de/maps.

I just found a solution: I deleted the Carto entry in Imagery Preferences (although it was green) and then added it again. Now I can see the menu entries for status and force.
