Option to disable automatic insertion of "hashtags"

Could we have a way to disable the automatic insertion of the hashtags key in the changesets, please?
For example:

#osm is actually the IRC channel
Sometimes I also use Reverting changesets #XXXXXX, #YYYYYY, #ZZZZZZ and I don't want to have this inserted in the hashtags key.
