Description
this is not a complaint but cant you make it possible to download the image so one can take the whole project ant work on a different work station that is offline...that would be extremely helpful in making it portable and allow training of newcomers without the risk of messing up the real database....AND PLEASE COME UP WITH A JOSM APP

will not offer an "download imagery tool", as it is much to easy to misuse this and cause massive server troubles with such a functionality.
Hm, actually we already have such a tool: Precache imagery tiles along this Track (restrictions: needs gpx track and loads only the current zoom level)

It's always on the border. A "download everything" tools is clearly too much. I do this sometimes at work and it does many many thousand of HTTP calls and downloads Gigabytes of data. Could be ok for a single user who knows what he is doing, but ...

You already can cache imagery. Increase the cache parameters and you have the desired effect.
Other than that we will not offer an "download imagery tool", as it is much to easy to misuse this and cause massive server troubles with such a functionality.
