After JOSM starts and loads an osm layer, when I open the Search window, click on the drop down list of last search strings and select the first one (the newest) it doesn't appear in the search box.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. JOSM starts and loads an osm layer
2. open the Search window
3. click on the drop down list of last search strings and select the first one (the newest)

What is the expected result?

search string should appear in the search box

What happens instead?

it doesn't appear in the search box
