#144 closed defect (wontfix)
Differentiate tagged and untagged nodes in JOSM

Description
Have different symbol for a node with attributes so that when using JOSM you don't erase nodes that carry vital data (place=village, amenity=parking).
Ticket originally filed in OSM trac by steve8@…, moved here by framm. Problem is not solved by mappaint because mappaint cannot use a special color for "node with any tags at all".

All those are "automatic" tags. I somehow want to differentiate any nodes that have had something added by the Add tab in JOSM (or equivalent in Potlatch now) that gives new key/value pair to that node. Rather than different colour (affected by people's ability to change with prefs) it might be better to have different shape/size.

JOSM does not interprete any values in the properties (except "name", which is hassle enough!).
Please ask the author of mappaint to include some special drawing/colouring for all nodes you like
(mappaint-author is Nick Whitelegg, if wiki:Plugins is still correct)
I've taken a look at this.
Which nodes should be considered as "tagged"? Each node contains the tag created_by, many "ele", "time" or "converted_by". Are they tagged? Do we need a preference to be able to configure which tags should be ignored? Is it enough to draw the node in a different color?
