Description
There are over 600 entries for xmas:name.
My suggestion show the name in Josm like node with place=square. You see the content of the node without marking it.

There were some tagging schema changes in the last days in the german wiki https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=DE:Key:xmas:feature&action=history
We should wait with JOSM core implementation until there is an agreement about the tagging. In my opinion all the tags should be without X:mas prefix (except xmas:feature). I already suggested it last year https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=561466#p561466
Nevertheless if you want to display xmas_name you can add it to the end of the advanced preference key mappaint.nameOrder
.
I set this to needinfo until tagging is clear.

There's no way JOSM supports these tags. Mapping Christmas features is against OSM good practices, see osmwiki:Good_practice#Don.27t_map_temporary_events_and_temporary_features

Current wording at wiki is rather confusing: reoccurring objects and events (minor rivers, ponds) with yearly periods can be mapped.
My suggestion:
"Don't enter tags and features that would completely gone in next 7 days and will never happen again"
Current wording:
"don't don't... Certain events that happen in a regular pattern (like a weekly market) can be mapped by using different time tags."
Replying to Don-vip:
There's no way JOSM supports these tags.
I think xmas events may qualify as regular early events. xmas markets are not weekly, but yearly. There not many (1K) xmas features to worry about them.
In my locality, xmas places/markets didn't change in the last 10 years at very least.
I think current objects were added based on some old German preset:
Tagging decisions about main tag (xmas:feature=*) are welcome (maybe xmas=market will be enough), but name/opening_hours tags - I'd rather tag them without xmas: prefix.
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1510097771:
xmas:feature=market
xmas:note=nur die Gastrostände bis 22:00, andere bis 20:00Uhr
name=Märchenweihnachtsmarkt Kassel
opening_hours=Nov 26-Dec 26 Mo-Su 11:00-22:00
source/website/contact:website=http://www.weihnachtsmarkt-kassel.de
Bold emphasis is more widely accepted/supported in software way of tagging date-specific features.
