Search for empty tag e.g. name:-

[nroets@…]

According to the help, searching for "name:-" will return all unnamed objects. It did work in version 496, but it no longer works.

One workaround is to select all and then to search for "name:" and "remove from selection" selected.

[tag-osm-trac@…]

The right way to do this search is "-name:".

I could not find that part of the documentation where this is wrong. Can you tell us where you found the wrong/outdated docs?

While you're modifying it, please explain :

1. If I search for "id:", why do I get all the objects without ids, i.e. the new ones
2. If there is a better way to select all changes, other than "id:"
