How to map a processing basin in a wastewater_plant? Validator and presets are not very helpful.

Description
In the wiki I found the following taggings:
- landuse=reservoir & reservoir_type=sewage (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:How_to_map_a)
- natural=water & water=wastewater ( & optional landuse=basin) (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:water)
- landuse=reservoir or natural=water & water=wastewater (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:man_made%3Dwastewater_plant)
- natural=water & water=wastewater (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Tag:man_made%3Dwastewater_plant)
- landuse=reservoir is deprecated (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Tag:landuse%3Dreservoir)
- landuse=reservoir is not deprecated (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:landuse%3Dreservoir)
The validator complain about water=wastewater ("Value 'wastewater' for key 'water' not in preset").
Also the validator knows nothing about the reservoir_type key ("Key 'reservoir_type' not in preset").
But the validator has a rule for "reservoir_type without landuse=reservoir or water=reservoir".
I think validator and presets should support at least one schema (old or new) or both (if there is no consensus). In the wild there is a complete mess. Today I saw:
- natural=water & water=reservoir
- man_made=waste_water & natural=water & water=reservoir
- man_made=waste_water
- man_made=waste_water & water=reservoir
- man_made=water_tower & water=reservoir
- man_made=water_works
- man_made=wastewater_plant
only for the basins where the water is processed in a single wastewater_plant! :-)

Replying to Klumbumbus:
in a single wastewater_plant!
Can you give a link to this wastewater plant?
It's the MASERU WASTEWATER PROJECT in Lesotho.
It's splitted in two parts: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/394187986 and the big https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/394187986
But I have (hopefully) fixed them :-)
