Load image add in fails

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Use ImportImagePlugin: Version 32287
2. From Imagery menu choose "Import Image"
3. First time use allows viewing image (tif created by ArcGIS)
4. Second time use fails with error: "Error while creating image layer: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ImageRead: No OperationDescriptor is registered in the current operation registry under this name."

Especially report the actual error message including the exception texts.

I tried using JOSM 10473
I updated Plugins
ImportImagePlugin Version 32287

With this version I cannot view any imagery or base map.

Seems you attract bugs :-) That one is already fixed. Please try again with tomorrows version.

Currently there is a GSOC project in progress to rework major components and this makes JOSM latest a bit more unstable than usual. But you can expect fancy new features when it's done ;-)
