[patch] better scale for gamma value

Description

The slider for the gamma value is asymmetric: Moving it all the way to the left, results in a completely white image, but moving it to the right has only a limited effect.

The opposite of gamma=0.4 should be gamma=1/0.4=2.5 (and not 1.6).

Attached patch converts the slider values, so that values left and right of the center position have opposite effect of same strength.
