Data not getting saved

Reported by: jmane@… Owned by: jmane@…
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Core Version:
Keywords: file save Cc:

Description

I have many a times encountered that changes done to a .osm are not getting saved in spite of saving them by write click and click on save option or pressing CTRL+S or selecting save option before deleting the file from josm. When opened for editing or reviewing the changes are not there. I am saving the files on my local drive so network issues are out of question. I have to save each file 3-4 times in order to save it. This problem is being faced by some of my coworkers as well.

What kind of information do I have to submit?

Your status report to begin with. General information about your environment. Console output might help too.

I am using windows 7 professional sp 1. With java version 1.8.0_51 and JOSM 8491. My work include creating osm files by drawing paths. When I create such file and exit after saving the file sometimes it doesn't get saved and after opening again I find that the file is empty or resent changes are not saved.

Nobody else has this kind of problem, it may be an issue with your environment. Sorry but you might be the only one to investigate the problem.
