= Main menu > Audio = This menu controls the playback of an audio recording that you would have made to complement the GPS tracks you collected during surveying. If you are audio mapping a lot, you will probably want to use the [wiki:Help/Preferences/Toolbar Toolbar Preferences] to put the buttons for audio playback on your toolbar in the familiar arrangement of such controls. See [wiki:Help/HowTo/AudioMapping Audio Mapping] for techniques you might adopt to make efficient use of audio recordings. Also see: * [wiki:Help/Action/ApplyAudio Apply Audio] to assocuate audio with waypoints. * [wiki:Help/Action/MakeSampledAudioLayer Make Sampled Audio Layer] from your GPS track. * [wiki:Help/Action/SynchronizeAudio Synchronize Audio] with the GPS track. As well as these controls, you can jump directly to a point in the sound track related to a position on the GPX track by * dragging the play head close to a trackpoint * if you don't see the orange play head arrow moving along the track while you play audio, make sure the 'Display live audio trace' option in [wiki:Help/Preferences/Audio Audio Preferences] is on. * clicking on an audio marker (buttons with little speech bubble icons) == [wiki:Help/Action/PlayPause Play/pause] == == [wiki:Help/Action/NextMarker Next Marker] == == [wiki:Help/Action/PreviousMarker Previous Marker] == == [wiki:Help/Action/Forward Forward] == == [wiki:Help/Action/Back Back] == == [wiki:Help/Action/FastForward Fast Forward] == == [wiki:Help/Action/SlowForward Slow Forward] == Back to [wiki:Help Main Help]
