[[TranslatedPages]] = Measurement Mode = [[Image(source:osm/applications/editors/josm/plugins/measurement/images/mapmode/measurement.png,48,link=,left,margin-right=20)]] This mode is to draw a path on the Measurement layer for measuring lengths. It is the [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar working mode] of the [wikitr:/Help/Plugin/Measurement Measurement plugin] registered in the [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar Edit toolbar] and the [wikitr:/Help/Menu/Mode Mode menu]. In Measurement mode the mouse pointer changes to a crosshair. Click on the start point and go on with the next points of the path to be measured. A measurement layer is opened upon the first click and line segments are shown between the points of the path. Rightclick removes the last point of the path. The length of the path is shown in the [[Image(source:osm/applications/editors/josm/plugins/measurement/images/measurement.png,24,link=,middle)]] [wikitr:/Help/Dialog/Measurement Measured values panel]. To create a path from a GPS track as path use ''Import path from GPX layer'' in the context menu of the Measure Path [wikitr:/Help/Dialog/LayerList layer]. == See Also == * [[Image(source:osm/applications/editors/josm/plugins/measurement/images/measurement.png,24,link=,middle)]] [wikitr:/Help/Dialog/Measurement Measured values panel] ---- Back to [wikitr:/Help/Plugin/Measurement Measurement Plugin] \\ Back to [wikitr:/Help/Menu/Mode Mode menu] \\ Back to [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar Edit Toolbar] \\ Back to [wikitr:/Help Main Help]
